Tips for better results

  • Shoot on a plain, contrasting surface in even light — shadows and patterned tables confuse edge detection more than low resolution does.
  • Keep the whole sheet, including all four corners, inside the frame so straightening has something to work with.
  • Grayscale output keeps text crisp and files small; use colour only when stamps or signatures need their colour preserved.

Do my scans get uploaded anywhere?
No. Each page is processed locally in your browser and the PDF is written on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I use photos from iPhone and Android?
Yes. Choose photos from your phone, including HEIC images on supported devices. The tool does not request live camera access.
Why does my scan look black and white?
The default document filter converts pages to high-contrast grayscale, which looks cleaner and produces smaller files. Choose Original colours if you want the photo as-is.
Is this tool free?
